In coming days, we will witness four major product launches, including three new SUVs and an off-road capable pickup truck. Maruti Suzuki is set to launch the Brezza facelift on July 24, while the next-generation Toyota Hilux pickup truck will go on sale on July 28. The Honda ZR-V and Kia Syros EV are also ready to hit showrooms in coming days, though their official launch dates are yet to be announced. Here’s a quick look at the key details of these upcoming models.
Maruti Brezza Facelift
The will come with slightly improved styling along with several new features. However, the biggest highlight will be the introduction of a new 1.0L turbocharged petrol engine, paired exclusively with a 6-speed manual gearbox. The existing 1.5L petrol mild hybrid and 1.5L petrol-CNG powertrain options will continue to be offered. Inside, the new Brezza will get a new, larger 10.1-inch touchscreen borrowed from the Victoris along with ambient lighting and ventilated seats.
New Toyota Hilux
Built on the body-on-frame IMV platform, the will feature a honeycomb grille with a ‘TOYOTA’ lettering on black plastic trim, sleek LED headlamps, revised bumpers and vertically positioned taillamps with LED DRLs. In terms of features, the pickup truck might get a surround view camera, dual zone automatic climate control, wireless smartphone charging and connectivity and more. It will continue to come with a 2.8L, 4-cylinder diesel engine.
Kia Syros EV
The is expected to be offered with 42kWh and 51.4kWh battery pack options, borrowed from the Carens Clavis EV. While the officially claimed range of the compact SUV is yet to be announced, its expected to be higher than the Carens Clavis EV and Creta Electric. The Syros EV will also receive a few EV-specific cosmetic changes including new alloy wheels, revised bumpers, a charging flap on the front fender and EV badging at the rear.
Honda ZR-V
The comes powered with a 2.0L, four-cylinder petrol engine paired with a dual-motor strong hybrid system. The combined output stand at 184bhp and 315Nm. The SUV comes with an e-CVT gearbox and a FWD (front-wheel drive) system. The hybrid SUV does 0 to 100kmph in 8 seconds and offers a top speed of 172kmpl. Honda claims that the ZR-V offers a fuel efficiency of 22.79kmpl.
