UltraTech Q1FY27 Result: UltraTech Cement Ltd, the flagship cement company of the Aditya Birla Group, on Monday reported a higher profit and revenue for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1 FY27), supported by operational efficiencies and the continued integration of India Cements Ltd.
Following the announcement of its June-quarter earnings, UltraTech Cement shares were trading at Rs 11,967, up 2.05 per cent, on the NSE at around 2:37 PM.
Net profit rises 17 per cent
According to the company’s exchange filing, consolidated net profit attributable to the owners of the parent rose 16.77 per cent year-on-year to Rs 2,599.28 crore, compared with Rs 2,225.90 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
On a reported basis, the company’s profit after tax (PAT) increased 17.2 per cent to Rs 2,604 crore, up from Rs 2,221 crore a year earlier.
Revenue crosses Rs 24,600 crore
UltraTech’s revenue from operations rose 15.8 per cent year-on-year to Rs 24,648 crore, compared with Rs 21,275 crore in the year-ago quarter.
The company’s profit before interest, depreciation and tax (PBIDT) increased to Rs 5,146 crore from Rs 4,591 crore in the corresponding period last year.
In its filing, UltraTech said the quarter’s performance reflected disciplined market execution, operational efficiencies and the benefits of integrating recently acquired businesses.
India Cements reports turnaround
UltraTech said the integration of India Cements Ltd continued to progress during the quarter.
According to the company, India Cements reported a normalised profit after tax of Rs 52 crore in the June quarter, compared with a net loss of Rs 183 crore in the corresponding period last year.
The improvement was supported by 18.5 per cent growth in volumes, along with tighter cost controls and improved market execution, the company said.
Capacity utilisation remains at 81%
The cement maker said it operated at 81 per cent capacity utilisation during the June quarter on an installed domestic capacity of 200.1 million tonnes per annum (MTPA).
According to the company, demand during the quarter was supported by housing, infrastructure and commercial construction activity.
Shares trade higher after results
UltraTech Cement shares opened at Rs 11,730.05 on the BSE and touched an intraday high of Rs 12,000, while the day’s low stood at Rs 11,676.10.
At around 2:37 PM, the stock was trading at Rs 11,967, up 2.05 per cent on the NSE.

Speaking to Zee Business, market expert Kunal Saraogi said UltraTech Cement continues to show positive momentum on the charts.
According to Saraogi, the next important resistance level for the stock is around Rs 12,225. He said that a move above this level could open room for another Rs 300-400 upside. He advised existing investors to continue holding the stock and maintained a near-term target of around Rs 12,200.
