Security forces have eliminated three terrorists who attacked in Akhnoor, Jammu on Monday. Immediately after the attack, the army started Operation Asan. In this, along with NSG commandos, helicopters, BMP-II combat vehicles were also deployed. This was the first time that tanks like BMP-II were used in an operation against terrorists. Not only this, the help of AI (Artificial Intelligence) was also taken.

The army held a press conference after the operation against the terrorists was over. In this, Major General of the Army, Sameer Srivastava said, in Operation Asan we used unmanned vehicles and artificial intelligence. We got quick and good results from this. We lost an army dog ​​in the operation against terrorists.

Army told why tanks were launched in the operation

Major General said that while the search operation was being conducted, the terrorists opened fire on the dog Phantom. In this attack, Phantom made a difference for the country. It was because of his sacrifice that many people’s lives were saved. He has also given information on the use of BMP tanks. He said that we used BMP because it was a difficult area. They were used to reach there after locating the terrorists in a 30 degree slope and dense forest.
