By scoring a century in just 32 balls, Vaibhav Suryavanshi has become the joint sixth batsman for India to score the fastest century in T20 cricket. In this matter, he has equaled Rishabh Pant, who while playing for Delhi, scored a century on 32 balls against Himachal Pradesh in the year 2018. Currently, the record of scoring the fastest century in T20 is in the name of Sahil Chauhan. Sahil scored a century in 2024 off 27 balls.
